Microwaving and Freezing

Most frozen foods keep well for four months (or sometimes even longer). GaGa Gourmet Baby Foods may be thawed in the refrigerator—or for so many mother’s who are “on the go”, go ahead and toss a frozen one in your diaper bag; as long as you know you will be using it in the next several hours.

GaGa Gourmet Baby Food may also be thawed in your microwave using the “defrost” settings as instructed on the label of each product.

I’ve heard it’s hazardous to microwave food in plastic containers. Is that an issue for my GaGa Gourmet products?

GaGa Gourmet products are packaged in a cup that is made from polypropylene, which contains no known dangers. Our cups are also microwave safe and certified by the manufacturer as food grade. Additionally, GaGa Gourmet products only need to be warmed at medium (50% power) for approximately 30 seconds, therefore they do not reach high levels of heat causing the plastic to give off any sort of toxins.

Our product cups are also top-rack dishwasher safe, so you can re-use them for non-food purposes.

Shipping

If you are located in Illinois, your food will arrive by UPS Ground, the following day (excluding holidays and weekends). Orders received after 1 PM CDT will be shipped the following day. Orders received after 1 PM CDT Thursday will be shipped the following Monday.

Local Customers will be able to pick up their orders at our manufacturing facility at:

If you are located outside of Illinois, your order will be shipped by UPS overnight or two-day air. Unfortunately, we can’t ship to PO Boxes or APO & FPO locations.

We can also ship to your office or place of work (Our boxes are discrete-no one will know that it’s baby food..) and since our products are shipped using an insulated box and dry ice, your food will keep cool until your ready to go home and place the food in your freezer.

Traveling?....No problem…just let us know where to ship it…your hotel, your summer home, etc.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. The minimum order is 12 items. You can select a variety of flavors of your choice or all 12 of the same item.

How is GaGa Gourmet baby foods packaged and shipped?

GaGa Gourmet packages each meal in a recyclable cup.

Each order is placed in an insulated box with dry ice, that is designed to keep the food frozen during delivery.

Gift Certificates may also be purchased online to provide friends and family with a great gift for their little bundle(s) of joy!

Are your foods organic? (As of 11/1/08)

YES!  We are happy to report that we are currently in the process of obtaining our organic certification and will be able to utilize the USDA Certified Organic Symbol very soon!
